The 279 billion forint investment in the W-Scope 1 Lithium-Ion Battery Separator Foil Manufacturing Plant is one of the largest industrial developments currently in Hungary, playing a key role in increasing production capacity for future technologies. The project aims to ensure the long-term supply of raw materials for electric vehicles in Europe in the field of separator foil production. The investment started in June 2022 and is expected to be completed in September 2025.
The development is taking place in Nyíregyháza, where an 89,000 m² production hall and a total of 153,000 m² of built-up facilities are being built to a high technical standard as part of a greenfield investment.
Our company is responsible for the entire project coordination of the investment. Our work includes continuous coordination and administration with disaster management, metering, utility service providers, as well as construction and sub-authorities. Our company also coordinates the commissioning permit processes, ensuring that the project complies with all regulations and standards while efficiently progressing according to the construction schedule.
