The expansion of the Volta 3 Copper Foil Manufacturing Plant is a HUF 44 billion investment, of paramount importance for the development of domestic industrial infrastructure and supplier capacities related to battery production. Construction began in July 2022 and was completed in November 2023.
The development took place on a 144,000 m² industrial area in Környe, and during the expansion, a production hall with a floor area of 51,300 m² and a total built-up area of 92,886 m² were created.
Our company participated in all phases of the investment with full project coordination. Our tasks included liaising with the authorities – including disaster management, utility companies, construction and subcontractors.
