One of the world's leading battery manufacturers, CATL, is building its second European manufacturing plant in Debrecen. The greenfield investment aims to serve the European electric vehicle industry and expand global manufacturing capacities. The total value of the development is 7.34 billion euros, making it one of the largest industrial projects in our country.
Our company is engaged in the responsible technical management of the project, project coordination, and health and safety tasks of the work areas on behalf of DDH Engineering Management Ltd. Our activities include coordination with disaster management, utility and construction authorities, and the full implementation of the commissioning permit processes.
The facility, which will be built on an area of 221 hectares, is expected to operate with an annual production capacity of 100 GWh, at an outstanding technical level. During the investment, environmental aspects will receive special attention, with particular regard to sustainable water use and the protection of local resources.
